Thanks to the generous support of Capital Flight, the skies above WaunaBoom will come alive with a stunning tribute to our Hometown Heroes. At 6 PM, five professional skydivers from the Wisconsin Skydiving Center will descend over Ripp Park trailing colorful streamers and a massive American flag. Choreographed to music, this breathtaking jump honors Waunakee’s Hometown Heroes and celebrates the spirit of service and community that defines our village. Don’t miss this high-flying moment of pride, precision, and gratitude.

End your WaunaBoom experience with our biggest fireworks show yet. Proudly presented by the Village of Waunakee and produced by our trusted partner, Chrome Fireworks and Displays. This year's display is packed with more pyrotechnics, more colors, and more wow. The show begins when the western sky is fully dark and is choreographed to a powerful musical score, culminating in an unforgettable grand finale. After the show, park lights will come on to ensure a safe and easy departure for all guests.

Thanks to the generous support of Patriot Properties, guests can enjoy a delightful variety of circus-style performances by Cirque du Cham—completely free! From hula hoops and juggling to acrobatics and more, a new short act takes the stage every 10 minutes, allowing guests to come and go as they please throughout the afternoon. Special thanks to Endres Manufacturing for donating the stage.

Join us for the Kids' Bike Parade at WaunaBoom! From 2 to 2:50 p.m., guests can decorate their bikes, trikes, wagons, or wheelchairs for free, thanks to the generous support of our friends at the Waunakee Lions Club. The parade will start at 3 p.m. by the north shelter near the baseball fields.

Look to the skies for a thrilling flyover by two F-35A Lightning II jets from the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing, scheduled to soar over Ripp Park during the National Anthem. Timing is subject to change, and the flyover is weather and mission dependent—guests are encouraged to arrive at the Main Stage before 2 PM for the best view. WaunaBoom proudly honors the 115th Fighter Wing's pilots, crews, and families for their service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to both country and our community.

A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the Wisconsin Army National Guard, 1st Battalion, 147th Aviation Regiment, is scheduled to fly over Ripp Park around 2 PM before landing in the baseball field near the 5th Street entrance. The helicopter will remain on site and open for free public viewing until its departure before 4 PM. Arrival and departure times are subject to change and may be delayed or canceled due to weather or operational needs. We extend our sincere thanks to the dedicated flight and ground crews—and their families—for their service, time, and unwavering support of Waunakee and WaunaBoom.
