Celebrate Independence Day with us at WaunaBoom in the Village of Waunakee! Enjoy live music, food carts, free family activities, a Black Hawk fly-in at 2 pm by the 147th Aviation Regiment, an F-35 flyover by the 115th Fighter Wing at 6:15 pm, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Please note that for the safety of everyone, we do not allow fireworks, sparklers, pets, or alcoholic beverages. In case of rain, the event will be moved to July 5th from 4:30 - 10:00 pm.

Livable Communities sponsors Pink Houses! This nine-piece, Wisconsin-based band is a non-stop party of your favorite Rock, Pop, Country, and R&B hits. Their live show is a high-energy, nonstop journey through some of your favorite tunes from the 1980s to now.

Livable Communities sponsors Boogie and the YoYoz! The hottest party band in Wisconsin and maybe Iowa! This band is a Waunakee favorite. They are always moving, singing, and entertaining. Get some food, and a cold beverage, and dance the evening away.

Watch free family movies in the park on Bishops Bay Country Club's jumbotron! The WaunaBoom theater presents the DC League of Super-Pets (PG) at 3:30 pm and the Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG) at 7:30 pm.
MOVIES IN THE PARK
3:30 - 9:00 pm

Stay for the impressive display by our valued partner, Chrome Fireworks and Displays. The show starts when the western horizon is completely dark. During the show, music will be playing. After the finale, lights will turn on around the park to ensure a safe departure for our guests.
FIREWORKS
9:45 pm

Sponsored by Lexus of Madison. Teams register from 2-3 pm in the beer tent. The team entry fee is $50 to be eligible to win cash prizes. Play starts at 3 pm. Must be 21 years old.

Bags Tournament

A Black Hawk from the 1st Battalion of the 147th Aviation Regiment will fly into the park at 2 pm and be on display in the baseball field for free until 4:30 pm. Thanks to the flight and ground crews donating their time!

The national anthem and F-35 flyover by the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing happens a little before 6:15 pm. The best viewing is in the beer tent or around it. Arrive 5-10 minutes early. Big thanks to the flight and ground crews!

Our four artists will be creating personalized and hilarious caricature drawings for free! Custom art takes time, so please be patient. Volunteers will share wait times with guests in line. Depending on the wait the line will close between 5:30 and 6 pm.
